インタビュアーは画集でキュレーション及び全体の文章を執筆してくださった飯田昭雄氏。「Massive Action Figure」や「Amazing Character」の編集長や2004年開催のBAPE GALLERYでのキュレーターをされていた最もジェリービーンとその周辺の文化を語れる方です。画集の本編も必読!!

Jelly bean dealt with a silkscreen print poster of Quentin Tarantino directer work “Kill Bill” which produced in American company MONDO. This style seems hommage of “Chimidoro-e” which was popular among the common people in last years of Edo era, and This can be called the answer to Tarantino who love and respect Japanese movie. In addition, this is him challenge to a new style.
米国MONDO社で制作されたQuentin Tarantino監督作品 Kill Billのシルクスクリーンプリントポスターをジェリービーンが手がけました。
これは江戸時代末期に庶民の間で流行した”血見泥絵”へオマージュを捧げた作風で日本映画を敬愛するTarantino監督への返答とも言え、また新たな作風への挑戦とも言えます。
